Opening of the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus.

 -  Acquisition of 70% stake in BP Malaysia Sdn Bhd. (renamed to BHPetrol).

 -  Acquisition of 30% stake in PSC-Naval Dockyard Sdn Bhd (now known as Boustead Naval Shipyard (BNS)) and increased stake in PSC Industries Bhd (now known as Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation Bhd (BHIC) from 31% (2005) to 65%(2009).

 -  Acquired the remaining 50% of Damansara Entertainment Centre (previously known as Cineleisure Damansara) in May.

Disposal of BH Insurance to AXA Affin.

Completed the acquisition of Pharmaniaga Bhd and MHS Aviation Bhd, resulting in Boustead owning 87% and 51% equity interest respectively.

 -  Listing of Boustead Plantations Berhad on Main Board.

 -  Rebranding of Affin Hwang Capital upon  the successful acquisition of investment banking, asset management and futures businesses of Hwang-DBS (Malaysia) Berhad.

 -  Boustead Cruise Centre Sdn Bhd successfully completed the acquisition of a jetty and 69 acres of land in Pulau Indah.

 -  The Royale Chulan & Bintang Hotels & Resort undertook a rebranding exercise unifying all eight hotels under one brand name, Royale Chulan.
